MADE (Sneak Peek)

I'm posting a little taster from MADE Design out of Toronto. They are currently doing a photo shoot to showcase some exciting new designs they have coming out of Canada (which I hope to get my hands on and post here within the next couple of days). They also just got their new site up and running, and still ironing out a few wrinkles, but so worth a visit anyway. MADE was founded by partners, Shaun Moore and Julie Nicholson and they are located at 867 Dundas Street, W., Toronto (416) 607-6384 madedesign.ca.

The image (above) are solid Lead Crystal Candle Sticks designed by Toronto local glass artist Valerie Dennis and are Kiln Cast, a process that takes over a week within the kiln. They are heavy and can be made in a huge variety of colours. Shown are lime, grey and opaque black crystal. ($210-$265).
